Many people are unsure about purchasing pre-cons and it’s because some builders have been not keeping the industry’s morals and they relapsed. That’s when working with an agent who has good connections comes to worth. During my real estate career, I have formed plenty of connections with strong reputable builders and due to that none of my client’s financial futures are in jeopardy. I will never work with any non-A-builders, and always put my client’s safety first.

How’s that possible? Well, you are purchasing a project based on its future value, that will be ready in a few years and in that period the value will significantly increase. Considering that pre-con projects prices will be a tad higher, and by the time it’s ready you will move into a brand-new place. So, if a resale condo is now priced at $680,000 and a pre-con is around $800,000, in five years your pre-con project will compound and be worth around 1.2 mils but the resale will be at $750,000 or max $800,000. Your investment in pre-con will have a higher return than putting it in the resale market.

You may pay more when purchasing a pre-con project than resale. And let me tell you this, it’s still cheaper and more profitable long term than that comparable resale that you keep eyeing!
